Michael was an amazingly talented individual, as evidenced by his background—a Harvard-educated medical doctor who wrote The Andromeda Strain while still in medical school, and then wrote (and directed the movie version of) The Great Train Robbery.

Analyst: Apple's Black Friday sales look strong
If the business Apple did on Black Friday is any indication, the holiday season could be a very happy one indeed for the computer maker. That's according to research from Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster, who's been tracking Apple sales leading up to holiday season.
